Become a Member!  Membership is free and open to the community: Complete the  Membership Application

                        While membership is free, we appreciate a one time $10 contribution of membership that is easily payable through PayPal.

Be a Leader! We are currently recruiting leadership for 2024-2025. Complete the Leadership Interest Form.  We are currently seeking many leadership positions and look forward to having you on board. 

Events:

• Cougar Cove Donation Drive, February 3-7, 2025.  Monday to Friday, during school hours drop off items to support the Cougar Cove. Help us help KHS students in need.  All donations stay at KHS to benefit KHS students.  

• Kempner PD Breakfast, Friday, September 27 in the KHS Commons.  Help us celebrate KHS faculty and staff with breakfast on their PD day.  Sign Up now to donate either through PayPal or with an item.  Thank you to all that contributed!

• Cougar Cove Donation Drive, October 21-25, 2025.  Monday to Friday, during school hours drop off items to support the Cougar Cove. Help us help KHS students in need.  All donations stay at KHS to benefit KHS students.   Thank you to all that contributed!

• Fundraising: Pizza Sales (cheese and pepperoni) on KHS Campus near the auditorium- October to December 2024 on campus. $2.00/slice.  All fundraising benefits KHS.  Help us help KHS.  See flyer on left.

• Kempner Staff and Teacher Thanksgiving, November 21. Support them by donating a dessert for their enjoyment during their KHS holiday luncheon.  Donations are needed on November 20 during KHS open hours.  

• Decorate the KHS Holiday tree with us on December 2 from 10 am to 11 a

Spirit Nights:

• Thursday, February 20, 2025: Spirit Night at ChikFilA in Sugar Land on Hwy 6. For dine in customers, please place your receipt in the donation box, for drive thru customers indicate at the pick up window that the receipt is to be donated to the KHS PTO, in the APP indicate KHS PTO. 

• Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6am to 9 pm at Chik Fil A on 2323 Highway 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478. For dine in customers, please place your receipt in the donation box, for drive thru customers indicate at the pick up window that the receipt is to be donated to the KHS PTO, in the APP indicate KHS PTO.  Thank you for your support!

All KHS Volunteers- for the entire KHS Volunteer Community

• Log your volunteer hours. Once a month, the KHS community is asked to report their volunteer hours for anything for KHS.  KHS is required to record and submit volunteer hours to our district.  The KHS PTO has volunteered to act as a VIP representative and to connect with the KHS community to collect and report the volunteer hours.  Any questions, please reach out to kempnerpto@gmail.com.  

• *Keep in mind this is not be completed by FT KHS staff or teachers employed by FBISD- while we greatly appreciate what you do this is for volunteers only.  

• The form to log hours can be found in the link below.  Please report monthly.

All on KHS campus volunteers are required to have a background check with FBISD. 

The KHS PTO & KHS VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) recognizes Volunteers of the Month from all volunteers within KHS.  

Volunteers of the Month are recognized with a certificate placed in the Cougar Cove.

Their contributions are noted due to hours of service to KHS, and/or recognition from the staff and teachers, and/or levels of service to KHS provided:

August 2024- Jeff Showers (Cougar Cove)

September 2024- Susan Briones (PTO and related activities, Science Olympiad, Cougar Cove)

October 2024- Mark Dulyunan (PTO related activities)

November 2024- Gretchen Hoffman (PTO and related activities, cross country, Cougar Cove)

December 2024- Heather Martin (KHS Band related activities)
