Kempner Parent Teacher Organization

Mission: The KEMPNER PTO is a non-profit volunteer organization that originated in 1988 upon the opening of Kempner High School.  The mission and goal of this organization is to fully support with our time and talent the faculty, staff, and students at Kempner High School in accordance with the FBISD Guidelines for Volunteers in Public Schools, or similar guidelines, as they may be issued and amended from time to time.

Kempner PTO Goals for 2026-2027

1) Develop and sustain initiatives that recognize and support staff and teachers, with at least three staff appreciation efforts and one feedback opportunity each semester.

2) Strengthen communication systems by providing consistent PTO updates at least twice per month and increasing family awareness and engagement throughout the KHS community.

3) Increase opportunities for meaningful student engagement with at least two student centered activities during the school year that promote connection and opportunity.
